On October 4, 2019, Mayoral Candidate Steve Reynolds sat down for a one-on-one interview. We covered a range of topics including the top issues facing the next Mayor and how will he address those if elected, how he would address future commercial development and applications for tax incentives and abatements by businesses and commercial developers, his views regarding the City’s budget and recent significant overages to the budget which were approved by the Mayor and President of City Council, how the City’s current processes could be improved to make government more user-friendly for residents, and how to increase transparency in government. Mr. Reynolds also explains his reasons for seeking the office of Mayor.
The interview lasted about an hour and a half overall, however, we took breaks to make sure the recorders were working. As a result, the interview is presented in four (4) audio recordings.
